Birthday Cookies

Jake wanted to make skeleton cookies. Mr. Gingerbread cutter was the best I could do. He loved it! Jake help with each step. His favorite part was testing them for quality, of course.

Handmade Halloween Costume

Jake loves helping, especially when it comes to crafts.

Jake is singing a Thomas and Friends song while working....

Jake is Thomas and Carlie is Percy. They spent all of five minutes in these boxes.

While Trick-or-Treating Jake tripped and feel flat on his boxed belly at the second house we visited. His arms and legs were hanging straight out of the box, he couldn't move. I was laughing so hard until I realized he was hurt. I tried picking him up.... I was in the Percy box so I couldn't reach him until I took the costume off. Poor thing cut his lip on the box. He didn't want me to fuss over him. He said, "I FINE." and  then he turned to the man at the door and said, "TRICK OR TREAT."
Jake had to get his candy, don't cha know. ;)

We went to all of three houses before Jake decided he was done. Jake was more than happy with his 15 pieces of candy. Which, by the third day, he had forgotten he even had any candy.

Handmade Pumpkin Tees

Jake and Carlie Rose after a morning playdate.

The Moms, Shannon and Steph, spent the morning decorating onesies and t-shirts. Shawn was in charge of the crew. And he did a great job. Thanks babe!!

Trick or Treat

We spent the day at Adam & Brando's watching the Vikings game, eating good homemade grub and trick or treating in our old neighborhood.

Jake tried to give away his candy here. I guess I didn't go over the rules before the adventure.

It wasn't long before he caught on and simply started sprinting from house to house....
knocking anyone down that crossed his path .... just kidding.

This was a scary house but Jake had no fear until he heard the chainsaw.

 Constant motion but true enthusiasm!

Here I made him STOP for a picture. Not enthused!

Back to Brandos for the GOOD candy!

We even got Dad in a wig!

Happy Halloween

We actually took Jake Trick or Treating this year!
He had a blast with his best two gals, Hailey and Hanna!
Thanks for stopping by girls!!

Ok, so all the pics are basically the same....
I can't help myself!
This last one is Jake asking Dad to open his candy.
It's nearly 80 degrees here... Jake's hair was soaked!
Look at those little red, over heated cheeks.

Jake loved digging into his BIG CUPCAKE and playing with his new toys so much that he stayed up 3 hours past his bedtime! Thanks to our friends that made Jake's first birthday so much fun.
